Kim Slater
Kim asks for spirit communication, either by sound or touch. A banging noise heard from above. Kim radios to base upstairs. Paddy informs Kim that the banging is possibly one of the team. Colby radios down to Kim to confirm banging noise is team above. Kim asks for spirit communication again. Kim hears a light tapping noise coming from the right. Kim asks for spirit to make a noise. At this time a low audible noise is picked up by the cam but not obvious to Kim. Kim takes a series of photographs in the area. Flash failed twice. Kim asks again for spirit communication. Colby radios Kim to end vigil.
Colin Miles Colby asks for communication. Colbly feels a draught- Possibly
from the stairs to the left. Colby hears creaks behind him to the left. Colby can see in his minds eye two faces, looking at each other. Col can hear coughing, probably from team above. He asks for spirit again. Colin radios to Kim, he asks if all the team
are present at base. It would seem that Colby asks spirit to show themselves, by floating lights. Colbys vigil ends
Dean radios Col to check reception. Dean asks for communication, asking for movement or touch. Dean states that he is not too keen having his back to the stairs,and can hear some people taking Spirit is asked for once again, Dean asks for recognition by either smell or touch. Dean feels slightly uneasy, but remarks that anyone would in this situation. Dean can hear someone walking down the stairs a bang is noted on the tape. Colby radios Dean to tell him that our guests are leaving. Again spirit communication is asked for, by touch or movement. Dean calls for Elizabeth and her dog, and asks for the dogs name for response. Dean feels a strange warm sensation on his head, as if a hand has been placed on him. Colby radios down to see if Dean is OK. Dean tells Col what he felt. Elizabeth is asked for again, Dean asks about
her dog. He then feels a hand on his Communication is asked for once again. Slight taps can be heard towards the end
of the room. Dean hears a whisper coming He asks the spirits if they would like him to leave. Col radios down to tell Dean his time is up. Dean asks for more time. Dean moves away from camera shot and calls up the stairs for spirit. Dean feels he needs to to leave. Vigil ended
Patrick Noble
Paddy explains to the tape that the team can be heard above. Although not picked up tape. Paddy says he can smell something fruity, possibly grapes. Paddy can not detect the smell anymore. Paddy sits quietly with his eyes closed. He takes a reading from the EMF - reading at zero. A loud bang from above is noted, equipment falling on the floor above. Paddy can hear a light dragging noise above him. Nothing detected on tape. Another smell has come to Paddy, this time unpleasant and very faint. Col radios down to end Paddy's vigil
Ian Batchelor(Guest)
He says he can hear the team above and the electric's whirring. Ian says that he has been in the castle many times before, but never like this! Ian is unsure as to whether he should call
for spirit. Ian says he feels uneasy in this situation, but not uneasy about why he is here. The team can still be heard above. Ian checks his watch and looks a little uneasy. He checks over his shoulders and says, he too feels vunerable sitting by the stairs. Ian is beginning to feel nervous. This is an observation by the tape editor. Ian states how his hearing is very enhanced in the dark. He stares toward the stairs, a click noise comes from the left. Ians vigil ends
Mick How Mick asks for spirit. Mick calls for Elizabeth and Arthur. He senses someone with him. Mick calls again. He asks for a light, or a knock, and asks the spirit to use his energy. A low audible noise, a whisper is heard on the tape and a click to Micks right. Micks continues to ask for validation. Mick coughs and holds his throat, he asks if that was them. Mick says that the temperature has dropped, he asks if the spirits need help. He asks Arthur if he needs help, if he wants to go to the light. He asks if the team is welcome at the castle. Mick hears laughter, he radios the base for
confirmation. Col informs him that it is people outside. Spirit asked for again. The strange noise heard in an earlier vigil is recorded on the tape. Not evident to Mick.
Vigil ended.
